Conferences and events

The BIG Event (UK) – an annual three-day conference, which in 2015 took part from Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 July at the John Innes Centre, Norwich. It offers “an unmissable opportunity to squeeze the skills and ideas out of all the STEM engagement people you can in a short space of time”, attendees coming from a huge variety of backgrounds.

I, Science’s events listings (UK, mostly London) – a listing of events aimed at general audiences, currently concentrating on London and larger events elsewhere.

The Little Event (UK) – a one-day training session for new science communicators, usually held in January.

The Science Comunication Conference (UK) – an annual conference run by the British Science Association. At the last conference there were three streams of workshops and discussions tailored to different levels of experience in sci comm (Interested, Experienced and Expert).
